The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) Station Upgrade and Relocation Strategy is about improving community safety for Canberrans as the city expands and the population grows.
Community consultation is a very important part of the ESA Station Upgrade and Relocation Strategy and will be ongoing throughout the development process. The community is being consulted at every stage of the project to ensure their input informs further development. The community will have a further opportunity to comment on the proposals during the statutory consultation process for any subsequent Development Application approval.
Consultation is being conducted with:
- ESA operational staff;
- Neighbouring property owners and occupiers of the new sites and the sites being vacated; and
- Community members, particularly those in Tuggeranong, North West Belconnen and Belconnen.
